I would look at the super in the payroll items first, go through each step and see if it is linked to PAYG at all

also look at the configuration of the BAS at W2 and see what is selected. I don’t use the actual BAS in Reckon I prepare the BAS from tax summary and payroll reports, then confirm the PAYG on payroll agrees with the balance in the PAYG account, and the same with the Tax Payable account

    This has never happened before.

Either a Super Payroll Item is linked to the PAYG Tax liability account or you’ve also selected a Super liability/expense account at the W2 label configuration.

I use RA’s integrated BAS in conjunction with the tax reports - Once the label configuration is correct, if you Save the BAS each time, you can opt to Open it next time & just Config the dates/date ranges (The Config settings should retain automatically after first use but sometimes they don’t so this ensures they remain the same ☺️)

Thanks Kris, all sorted. I went into Edit payroll item (Super:Super Fund) and found the Super Liability account was showing PAYG Liabilities, I changed it to Super Liability and figures are correct. This has changed after the tax table update on 1st July 2022, prior to that April BAS PAYG figures were correct and so were the years prior. How does this happen ??

It’s what computers and software do of their accord sometimes isn’t it! Glad you got it sorted
