STP Finalisation showing as "Not Tax Ready"

I did my STP Finalisation a week ago today, however the ATO portal stall says "NOT TAX READY".

Does anyone know how long this will take to show as ready?

    Hi @Julieprince

Was your EOFY finalisation processed successfully? ie. does it show a Success status?

Also, did you send through any further submissions for the 2022/23 financial year AFTER the EOFY finalisation?

The ATO will be receiving an extremely high number of submissions at the moment so I'd say it might take a little while for them to process and update everything but for exact timeframes etc, its best to give the ATO a call.

    Hi,

Yes it does show as SUCCESS, and no I have not done anything else in the file since I submitted the finalisation.

I understand that the ATO is extremely busy and in most cases not taking calls this week, which is why I have asked here. In saying that, all the finalisations for my other clients using Xero, MYOB or QBO were done over the weekend (after my Reckon One client) and they are all showing as TAX READY.

Hmm ok, perhaps give it another day or two. If there hasn't been any change after that then maybe send through another 2022/23 EOFY finalisation. An EOFY finalisation will overwrite any and all previous submissions including the one sent before.

Would be keen to hear how you get on.

Hi Rav, I have the same situation as Julie has described above. We completed the finalisation about two weeks ago and submitted the info to the ATO, all showing as 'not tax ready'.

    Hi guys

If the MyGov accounts haven't switched over to Tax Ready status even though your EOFY finalisation has been processed successfully then the next thing I'd suggest is giving the ATO a call and having a chat on why that is and what they need to do in order for it to be switched to the right status.

Genuinely not trying to shift blame here but if the submission is showing as 'Success' in your Reckon GovConnect then the response we've received back is that its been processed successfully by the ATO. Unfortunately we don't have any visibility or control on the MyGov side of things 😔 but I'm sure they'll be able to assist if you give them a buzz.

Thanks Rav, I'll give that a try. Although I expect an extended wait on the call :-/
