I have just noticed that my reporting in Reckon One does not realise that the finacial year has ended.

I set this instance up in September 2022 and the start date in the Book Settings is showing 9/9/22.

If I change this to the 1/7/22 with this resolve my issue.

    Hi @Martymart

The option to set your financial year occurs when you first setup your Reckon One book (example screenshot below). The default pre-filled selection is July for Australian Reckon One books and April for NZ Reckon One books. Unfortunately, once its locked in, it can't be altered afterwards so if you've opted to set the financial year as something other than the default it will remain as is.

The book start date, which is the one you're seeing in your book settings, is different and refers to the starting date for transactions in your book. This can be changed at any time to an earlier date than the currently set book start date.

    Hi @Rav

Thank you for your assistance and answer to my question.

Not sure how that has occurred as I would not have changed that although do not recall.

Based on this, would purchasing a new instance be the only way to resolve it.

    Hi @Martymart

If you need to alter your financial year then yes it will require a new/different Reckon One book to be setup. You'll need to make the selection of the financial year during the setup of that new book.
