Hi Is there a compatability problem this week with upload STP2 via GOVConnect?


I keep getting a message back from ATO that STP2 software is incompatible. I have successfuly sent through last fortnight's information, just not this payroll information

    That second screenshot shows you have an issue with the phone number either in an employee's information or the company information (Company ➡ Company Information).

    Ensure that the phone number only has numbers in the field, no spaces or special characters such as hyphens, spaces etc.

    Once you've corrected it, recreate the STP .json file and send it through GovConnect.

    Hi @V1W184

    Is that an error message appearing on the 'Detail' page after you send a submission through? Are you able to post a screenshot of that error.


    Just to confirm, you've completed the STP Phase 2 Migration Assistant in Hosted and successfully sent through a STP Phase 2 submission previously?

    Thanks for reply Rav I think I just solved my own problem. Forgot to update new ATO submission. Thanks for your prompt follow up. Makes a huge difference

    I also had a similar error message. I had to delete spaces in phone numbers in the sections of Employee Details and Company Details. I also had a dash in one of the fields.

    I add my comment to this thread in case others don't think to go to these fields.
