I cannot email a report as a spreadsheet

Hi! When I attempt to email a report as a spreadsheet I get an 'exception occurred' error. I can email as a pdf but not a spreadsheet. I have logged out and I have tried running it on different browsers with no luck.
Can you help?

Is this occurring only on a specific report or on any report that you try to email as a spreadsheet file?
Which report are you trying to export/email as a spreadsheet?
Where specifically the process is this error message appearing?

Hi Rav,
I am trying to email a P&L but it happens on any report I try to send.
As soon as I press 'send report as spreadsheet' the error comes up.

Thanks @Anne_9798445
I did a bit of testing in my own file but wasn't able to replicate this.
Do your reports have a large date range by any chance? If so, can you do me a favour and just shorten the range and confirm if the same error appears?
Also, is this error a new occurrence? ie. have you been using this process successfully before? If so, is this the first time the error has appeared and when was the last time you were able to successfully email the report out as a spreadsheet?

Yes, I have been trying this with our tiniest reports, and it still happens.
I can't say for sure when this has started happening. I haven't needed to do it for a year or so, but have tried over the past month unsuccessfully.

Right ok thanks @Anne_9798445
One last question, if you select the option to Export the report to a new workbook then download it from Hosted rather than emailing it directly, does that error appear at any stage? Or does it generate successfully?

Hi Rav, I don't get the same error when I export it, but I can't seem to access it when I do. I'm not sure if it is not actually downloading or if perhaps I don't know how to access it once it's downloaded to the Hosted drive.

Once you've hit Export, it will get saved to your Reckon Accounts Hosted Q drive. You can then download it from there using the Floating Toolbar and open it in Excel.
To download a file from the Q drive, check out the instructions here - How do I download files from Reckon Accounts Hosted? ⬇️
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks so much Rav. It's a longer way around than the email but I have what I want.
Thanks heaps for all your help.
