Why is the current year SGC rate not defaulting to the correct rate?
I have just setup a new employee and the rate defaulted to 10.5%.
This is a worry.

After selecting the 'Yes' option to update the Super Guarantee rate to 11%, it hasn't updated on the Employee Defaults section in Payroll & Employees preferences. What do I do?

Check your Preferences haven't still got a default Super fund set at the old rate.
To find this, click on Edit (along top toolbar) > Preferences. Under Payroll & Employees, click on the Company Preferences tab > Employee Defaults button > Super Details button. If you have an old rate set there, just update it in that area & that will solve the problem 😊
