I am unable to change an account for a transaction.
This has never happed to me before after 15 years of using reckon. I can not change the account to assign this transaction to. There is no edit lock on the transaction set in preferences.

I have this a lot when I try to change an old transaction that was originally using my old Amex account. I can’t remember exactly why but I will look later, it has to do with the credit card account.

Glad you sorted it out, I had a look but it was a very old credit card account that I think I may have changed to a bank account and so I am unable to change any of those transactions. Can’t be sure though as the account is over 20 years old and my brain is a lot older

I haven't sorted it out and after 15 years my brain is older and just can't figure it out. Have always been able to change normally. Hopefully Reckon will contact me . Cheers Anita

I vaguely remember changing an old unused credit card to a bank and after that I was unable to change any of those transactions without getting the message you get

Yes , you are quite correct. I must have done that too. So to edit a transaction you have to change back to a cc account and then make the change, Still shows in a profit and loss as you have put it against an expence.
Your memory better than mine. I reckon, no pun intended , that this brain exercise will stave of demetia.
