How to drill down on Job Estimates vs Actuals Summary

Hi,

When we run the Job Estimates vs Actuals Summary it lets you drill down on the estimate costs & estimate revenue, but when we drill own on the actual costs & actual revenue it brings up "Job actual cost detail" but it is blank.

Does anyone know how to get this info from the report without running a whole new report?

I've just tested it & the drill down works for me on both Est & Act ... Is there an Act value amount displaying or is it $ 0.00 ? If you've not invoiced any of the estimate(s) yet, there won't be any Act Revenue until then😬 However, if there's an amount there, you definitely should be able to drill down on it.

Do you Verify ... your file regularly ? If not, it's possible there's some corruption somewhere so I'd recommend running the Rebuild 3 times (For some reason, THREE rebuilds fixes a lot of issues!) This is under the File dropdown menu > Utilities > Rebuild Data

Hi Shaz,

Thanks for getting back to me. I figured out the problem was that I filtered the report to include both active and inactive estimates. We mark them as sold so they aren't technically active in Reckon anymore once finalised. We do this for other reporting reasons. It seems to be that I cant drill down on the inactive ones even though it manages to give me a total figure. Its annoying but I doubt its fixable :(.

Hmm ... If it's displaying a figure for inactive ones, I would have thought you should still be able to drill down on it.

Can you try the 3 Rebuilds & see if that resolves it ?
