Trying to copy file in Personal Plus

I have been trying to create a new file in Personal Plus

Using File Menu/File Operations Copy file. I enter in the new file name and as I don't want transactions I just put in 1/3/24 to 24/3/24. It shows it is copying file but then just comes up with "File Not Copied".

Can't see that I am doing anything wrong.

Try using 010324 - no slashes (just a suggestion, not familiar with Personal Plus)

To create a new file . goto

FILE

NEW

New File

and follow the instructions

Thanks Gerry - I am trying to create a new file using all of the Categories/Accounts I have set up in my existing system.

Creating a new file with default list works ok. The copy file is the one that just keeps coming up with the File Not Copied message.
