Attaching Terms and Conditions to Invoices Automatically

Hi there,

I was wondering if there was any update from the thread a few years ago, to being able to attach the terms and conditions page automatically to invoices being sent?

This is not something that can be done within this text of the invoice as it is too large.

Any advice is appreciated!

Totally understand where you're coming from and I agree that it sounds like a practical enhancement. The feature request for this in Hosted HERE has only received a handful of votes however so far so I'd strongly recommend adding a vote yourself if you haven't already, and even a comment in regard to your use case.

As @Lucas mentioned we're in the very very early stages of evaluating options around invoices (including this) for our Reckon One service and as part of that we'll also look to see if there are enhancements that could potentially be incorporated into Hosted. To be fully transparent, there are codebase constraints which impact what can and can't be introduced to the platform however with that said, we're always open to feedback on improvements our users are looking for so I'd strongly recommend adding to the feature request.

This is something we are currently considering for a future update in Reckon one and I believe unfortunately this will not be added to Reckon Accounts Hosted at this time.

Thanks for your reply. I think given the thread of this discussion dating back 10 years this is something Reckon should be prioritizing across the board of all Reckon Products. In this business climate supplying terms and conditions of sale is a necessity, not an extra. The company legally writing my terms and conditions have told me that this is an available service on all other accounting packages they have dealt with for their clients.

@Rav thanks for your update, I have followed your suggestion and voted and left a comment. I don't think most users know there is a place to vote for things like this, otherwise looking on the Reckon Community where the first post I found on this issue dated back 10 years ago; more people would have voted for this to be installed. I've been using Reckon (nee Quickbooks) since 2010, I have 8 license's, and did not know about this.

Where would we find this link to vote or ask for new additions to the product in normal circumstances (where you are not providing me the link) how would I know to look for this, where is it advertised? Is it from within my accounting package or a separate entity altogether?

I'm working on a few things in the background right now to hopefully make it easier to suggest ideas/feature requests directly from the Community here but there's a fair bit of viability testing to go so don't want to get too ahead of things just yet as it may not pan out the way I've envisioned.
