Multi User Licence with Reckon Accounts Hosted

We have Reckons Accounts Hosted with 2 users (2 licences) at present. We want to see if we can buy a Multi-User package where 3 different people can be using the same system at the same time as well as our Accountant being able to access our system at any time without knocking us out if we are in the system.

This MFA function is limited the way we do it and we have several different staff members needing to access the system at any given time.

We're always happy to have a chat around managing multiple users and your options when it comes to licences etc. If you currently have 2 licences to Hosted that will allow two individuals to access Hosted concurrently. If you require an additional login to allow a 3rd person to access your Hosted account at the same time then our customer service team is happy to have a conversation around getting the licencing side of things organised & setup. Just a separate note - is there a reason why your accountant is using your login to access your file? Generally an accountant will have their own Reckon Accounts Hosted account which you can share your file to. This will allow them to access the file without interrupting your session.

There should be better pricing for multiple concurrent users. Its a serious roadblock to recommending hosted. I dont understand what the issue is as it has never been fully explained. It has been the same since the bad old days of Citrix. Isnt Mr Bezos wealthy enough? Or is it just a money spinner until Reckon one is fully functional?

I'm sure there used to be an option to buy Reckon Accounts Hosted multi-user where you paid an estimate of around $3000 per year but you had the ability to have 5 or more users being allowed to use the Reckon platform at once.

We presently have 2 individual user Ids where we share the files as we have 3 different files each with 2 different entities but unfortunately we can not be in the same file at the same time working. We have tried to change it to Multi-User in the file section but it still won't allow us to both be using it at the same time.

I'm sure you're talking about using Reckon Enterprise on TS, not HOSTED. Different technologies. You can still do this but the CALS aren't cheap and come in packs of five.
