Why has the control panel button disappeared since MFA has been introduced

    Sorry I hit post before seeing the previous replies

    You have to login in order to access the control panel. So hit the login button and you'll see the control panel on the dashboard screen from my screenshot.

    Hi @numberplateads

    Can you please confirm, saying this "Control Panel Button disappeared" means that you can't see that, when you are login-in to Reckon Accounts Hosted?

    I am asking this because, I have checked and seems to be the same way as before as in the screenshot attached -

    This is what mine looks like now. I used to have the black control panel button but its vanished.

    Hi @numberplateads

    MFA doesn't affect have a connection with the RAH control panel so it should still be in the same place. I've checked a few of my test accounts and it seems to be normal in ones I've checked anyway.

    What appears on-screen for you? No button at all?

    If so, I'd recommend getting in touch with our support team so we can take a closer look.

    I was thrown out this morning as it was idol for over an hour, I cannot cancel the login via the control button.

    I can't login because of the MFA - I'm trying to change the phone number as the owner is not here and I can't login. Someone is helping apparently and I am waiting to hear back from him.

    You guys are really making this program very unfriendly to use.

    I'm really sorry to hear you feel that way @numberplateads, we're certainly not trying to make things difficult for our users, its not in our interest to do so.

    The control panel however has always been accessed after login and not on the login screen itself, there hasn't been any change to that.

    MFA on the other hand, is a new introduction that has come into effect today which is in line with enhanced data security and compliance regulations set by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
