portal.reckon.com MFA is not working for payroll.reckon.com

Hi guys. Need your help on this one. We are a Reckon One user.

We've recently changed our authentication from mobile number to an Authenticator (Google Authenticator). It is perfectly fine using this site, portal.reckon.com. However, when I want to go directly to the payroll site, payroll.reckon.com, it is still asking me to provide a mobile number and it doesn't work at all. Even the Reckon Payroll app on my iPad, it is asking me for a mobile number, instead of the MFA code through the Authenticator.

Can someone direct us how to resolve this issue.

The payroll.reckon.com login page (directly) doesn't support MFA via authenticator app just yet. It only has SMS as an MFA option at this stage.

However instead, if you login to portal.reckon.com (which does support MFA via an authenticator app) then select Reckon Payroll from the left and open your book it'll take you straight through to Reckon Payroll

Hi Rav. Thank you for your prompt reply.

So there is no other way for me to access the payroll but through the portal (as what we've been doing for the last month). This rendered useless as well as for the Reckon Payroll App on my iPad as its always asking for a mobile number which I don't get a code at all.

If you switch your MFA source from authenticator app to SMS then you will be able to login to Reckon Payroll directly from https://payroll.reckon.com/, the Reckon Payroll mobile app, and also the Reckon Portal login page as well.
