Transfer data from Accounts hosted to Recko one

Is it possible to transfer all data? I have been using Accounts hosted for a while and want to change to Reckon one.

I want to know how easy or difficult it will be?

You can migrate from Reckon Accounts Hosted to Reckon one simply by using our 3rd party provider that will move your data across for you. Please click here to open the migration option page.

I have taken subscription for Reckon One. Can the existing bank accounts also be transferred? And chart of accounts and items ?

I have bank feeds in Accounts hosted. Will they be transferred to Reckon one?

What about Invoices and purchase orders-forms with logos?

Will they be transferred?

Yes, you can have your existing bank accounts transferred across with your chart of accounts including items details as well.

The bank feeds can be transferred across for you from Hosted to Reckon one.

For invoicing purposes, the following can be brought across for you:

• Open Sales Invoices and credit notes including individual line items (Item, Qty, Description, Rate) along with the partial payments applied in the period before the start of migration date.)
• Open Purchase Invoices and credit notes including individual line items (Item, Qty, Description, Rate) along with the partial payments applied in the period before the start of migration date.)

You are able to upload your logo into Reckon one simply by modifying our template and it will appear on all your invoices.

On another note, I just want to be very clear that Reckon one and Reckon Accounts Hosted are two very different software packages and have completely different functionality/capabilities, I highly suggest you start a free trial and test out the software first before attempting to migrate across.

We want to ensure that your needs are met by Reckon one before MMC migrates the data.

I have been using Quick books. Reckon since 2008 and I use it for:

Invoices, bills, expenses, checks -that is all. I have never done bank reconciliation over all these years and now the accountant demands that I must do bank reconciliation.

Hence I organized bank feeds but it proved to be a very difficult task to reconcile after all these years. Still struggling!

Also Reckon prices are much cheaper than hosted price.

And it may be easy to do bank reconciliation in Reckon.

Based on above, I will appreciate your comment whether I should change over to Reckon one.

The best advice I could provide you at this time is to start a trial on Reckon one by calling into our sales team and have them assist you in getting setup. After that, I would like you to decide if the experience is more than enough for you on Reckon one to completely migrate over.

It may be completely different for you, and you may not end up liking Reckon one due to the features that may or may not be missing in the package.

I have signed up for a trial but have not set it up. If I transfer my data, can I continue using Accounts hosted for say 3 months. My hosred licence expires on 16 July 2024.

Is it possible to extend it for 2 months only?
