I have been using hosted for years now. I am all of a sudden getting mesage below for online banking link, can anyone help?:

businessonline.westpac.com.au is blocked

    Good morning, are you trying to access this website via the internal browser within Reckon Accounts Hosted?

    Hi Nick

    Yes the internal browser. I have allowed third party cookies and that hasn't worked. The tab "Go Online" sends me to help page, as below and it never used to do this. I scrolled down that page and select "Westpac" then it comes up with the message.

    Hi @JennyV ,

    Unfortunately, The Internal browser in Reckon has a limitation to access external website. I would suggest to access via external web browser.

    Please let me know how it goes and hope to hear back soon!.

    I have exported the ABA files and uploaded to Westpac. The problem is also that in my bank information it has the payments for online as "TO SEND" and cannot change to "SENT".

    Why has it always worked in the past but not now? Something has changed and only change I know is the MFSA with Reckon Hosted.

    Hi @JennyV

    Just jumping in here for Nick to hopefully add a bit more info on this.

    Previously Reckon Accounts Hosted's internal browser would semi-frequently experience performance or stability issues which prevented Hosted users from using it. In order to bring a solution to that back in March this year the Reckon Accounts Hosted internal browser was upgraded to Microsoft Edge which added a lot more stability. There's info on this in our previous announcement here - Reckon Accounts Hosted's internal browser has been updated! 🆕

    As part of the upgrade, we've also had to implement restrictions on which sites that internal browser can access for security. Unfortunately this means the majority of sites including bank websites can no longer be accessed from the internal browser.

    Open another tab in your browser (separate to Hosted) and navigate to your chosen bank website and it will load normally. You can then upload your ABA file as normal however you'll just need to download it from Hosted first. There's info on how to download files from Hosted here if you need it.

    the bills paid when selected "online banking" are still sitting as "TO SEND" and will not move to "SENT".
