Deleting a general journal entry

I have processed 2 general jounal entries for Child Support Payments in March and April but have just realised that Child Suport is a Payroll Liabilty. If I process the Liability and then delete the journal entry is it going to mess up my reconcilliations?

Not at all - The correct way to enter these payments is via Create Custom Liability Payments > Pay Liabilities NOT a GJ.
This is because a GJ can only impact the Account whereas paying via payroll liabilities ensures both the Account AND Payroll Item are correctly impacted, ensuring your payroll liability reports are accurate ! 😊
