Good afternoon everyone

My client is using a hotmail email address in his business

I was trying to set up the webmail in Reckon 2024 today with no success

The outgoing mail server is set as

smtp.office365.com

using port 587

The mail service isnt working

I came back into the office

Upon checking the outgoing mail server used by a different client is

smtp-mail.outlook.com

using port 587

I rang support and spoke to Nick. I can't get clarification on why the original configuration doesnt work while the second does.

Good morning, checking on the Microsoft email setting for Outlook. SMTP server name is smtp-mail.outlook.com with port number: 587.
