#TipTuesday - Icon shortcuts in Reckon Accounts & Reckon Accounts Hosted
Ever wondered what those little pictures/labels are along the top of your window? These are 1-click shortcuts to specific areas of the program & can be a real time-saver!
You've probably already noted the main, default ones:
… but did you know you can create your own ones too? 😲
It's not just transaction windows either, you can even add specific reports there!
To add any window (including any report) …
- Open the relevant window (or report) you'd like to add
- Click on
View (along the top toolbar) & from the dropdown menu, click on Add xxx to Icon Bar…
In the next window, choose the icon & enter the label you'd like to display for this, then click on OK:
Your new icon bar shortcut will now be displayed!
Useful to know
Keep the label names as short as possible so you have enough room in the icon bar for all your important shortcuts to be added!
This feature is user-specific so all users can create their own, unique shortcuts! 😊
