My Reports are Exporting in Read Only

I do monthly reports all the time, I usually Export to a new workbook, then Download and Open them ready to fix up the formatting etc.

But today every report I save to My Live Q folder then open it, it is downloading and I am unable to do anything in it, almost like a Read Only file, but I don't know what to do with it now to make changes?

What is going on?😫

Excel exports from Hosted will download in a protected view mode which, as you've mentioned, is a read-only mode.

There should be a button at the top of the workbook that allows you to switch the file from read-only to edit mode but I'd recommend checking out the info here as it contains steps and info on how you can change this 👇
