Import bank statement to Accounts Desktop 2024 Enterprise

I'm trying to import a QIF file from ANZ into Reckon. When I convert the file to QBO it asks me which account to import to and the only option is a CBA account. We don't have any CBA accounts in the Reckon file.

If I choose the CBA account, when I then import the file to online banking centre it again asks me which account to import to and it shows me CBA details which aren't correct. I can't change the CBA info but choose the ANZ account from the drop down.

Once I do this, Reckon changes the details in the online banking tab in the ANZ account setup to mirror the CBA details which is incorrect. From there the ANZ account now only shows under the CBA tab at the top of the online banking centre. And the file is empty and contains no transactions.

This is also wrong because if I open the QIF file in Notepad I can see all the transactions.

What's going wrong here?

Thank you for reaching out.

It's possible that the Online Bank Details have been setup improperly for your bank account in Reckon Accounts Hosted.

Can you please check the following for me:

Go into Lists.
Select Chart of Accounts.
Find your bank account.
Right-click your bank account, and select Edit.
Check your bank's financial institution, and ensure it's set to ANZ.
Go into the Online Bank Details.
Check this section to ensure your financial institution and bank details are accurate.

If this is set to Commonwealth, it's likely why this is appearing.

Otherwise, just ensure you select Use an Existing Account for this section to continue, and you should not have to worry about the Commonwealth Bank appearing there.

This is the account set up.

When the QBO file imports this data is over written to show CBA data as per the snip in my first comment. I have to keep changing it back. I've rebuilt the file and its still happening. Seems to be a bug somewhere.

The QBO cannot modify the Financial Details of your Online Bank Details.

In the Online Bank Centre, after you select to import to your ANZ account, can you check the drop-down at the top (where it says Financial Institution) and see if you can find any of your bank details in there?

Also, are there any other Bank Accounts setup for Online Account Access in Reckon Accounts at the moment? If so, you may wish to consider disabling them, or checking your Preferences (Edit → Preferences → Banking) to ensure that the ANZ is set to the Default Account.

I can assure you the CBA details are being overwritten to replace the ANZ details in the account setup. I've just imported and this is what I can now see:

It may be possible your file is suffering from a minor corruption. In this case, I'd suggest the following:

Go to File.
Go to Utilities.
Click Rebuild Data.
