Reckon Payroll has received an update which introduces a change to the sign-in screen, some awesome new functionality and a number of other enhancements.

✨ Changes to the payroll.reckon.com sign-in screen

In case you missed our previous announcement last week, there is a small change to the Reckon Payroll sign-in screen with this update.

If you sign-in to Reckon Payroll from https://payroll.reckon.com/ you’ll automatically be directed to our Reckon Portal screen at https://portal.reckon.com/ instead to sign-in.

After you land on the Reckon Portal sign in screen just sign in with your existing Reckon Payroll credentials and you’ll access your Reckon Payroll book as normal. That’s it! It’s that easy 🙂

✨ Bounce back email notification

Reckon Payroll users will now receive a notification email when an email you've sent from Reckon Payroll such as a payslip for example, has bounced back from the intended recipient. This is a really handy feature in addition to the email history log that allows you to stay on top of any emails that could not be delivered.

The bounce back email will be sent to the email address listed in your companion Reckon One book settings under Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Book Settings ➡️ Reply-to Email Address

✨ Filter pay run list by status

You can now filter your pay run list screen by specific pay run statuses. You can select a single or multiple statuses to filter.

• Draft - The pay run has been created but not yet marked as paid.
• Paid - The pay run has been marked as paid and is ready to be submitted to the ATO.
• Done - The pay run has been submitted to the ATO.

✨ Pay Schedule improvements

We've corrected the situation where pay runs created from a pay schedule were timing out when it included a rehired employee who had a previous employment history in the employee profile.

✨ Next Employee button improvements

A fix has been added that ensures when an employee in a pay run does not have any pay items, the Next employee button option is displayed and moves to the correct employee in the list.

✨ Bank account details in APRA super funds

For our Reckon Payroll users who integrate with Beam for super payments, you'll now see bank account details are displaying for APRA super funds in batch details.
