Duplicate scheduled transactions

How do I stop duplicate transactions appearing in scheduled transactions, this is becoming a problem short of starting a new book to eliminating the problem, someone please help.

As much as I hate to say it, if it is really important to you, start a new file, keep this particular file for reference purposes only. bring in your closing balances and start a new data file.
