Exporting Westpac transactions into Reckon Personal Plus 2022

Previous discussion on this topic some years ago identified some issues with the process. That discussion is here:

But, I'm new to this and have these questions:

Firstly, that once a .qif file exported from a Westpac account is opened in Reckon, the same data cannot then be accessed from the Westpac account again - is this true please?

Secondly, I want to delete the transactions I've so far downloaded, and which are shown as either "match" to existing transactions in the relevant Personal Plus account, or "new" to that account and available to "Accept" - before I do anything with them. There is no "delete" function to do so, that I can find, can anyone tell me otherwise?

Thirdly, having read the previous discussion I know I probably must use the Westpac "QIF Abbreviated" export file format to have the payee field exported cleanly - again, can anyone shed further light on this please?

My phone number in Australia is available on request for anyone with knowledge and successful experience with this process please

Thanks Gerry, your help much appreciated! Choose QIF Abbreviated with DD/MM/YYYY date format to export transaction from Westpac, and then Quicken processes as normal. Only work-around required is that to delete unwanted transactions from those exported and then imported to Quicken, without selecting each one individually, is to Accept All, and then use Quicken's feature in the Register to select more than one by using Shift key held down, and delete from the Edit menu. Obviously category needs to be edited (mostly), but big saving in time previously used to enter all transaction detail for each transaction.
