running batches through BEAM clearing house

Hello, If I am using the BEAM clearing house and pay Super Guarantee payments quarterly, can I run a batch before the quarter expires and leave the batch in the "awaiting payment" status, or do I need to wait for the end of the quarter before I can proceed to run the batch and send the payment so that BEAM has all the pay runs for the quarter? I am anticipating that I may have some errors I have to fix when I click "validate". Can I run the batch before the end of the quarter so these can be fixed. I'm new to using the BEAM clearing house so I'm uncertain on the finer details. Thanks

    Hi @redman,

I recommend waiting for all pay runs to be completed first and validating a batch afterwards to find and confirm any errors for the quarter.

However, you definitely can run the batch and fix the errors before the quarter earlier, but you want to ensure that you include the pay runs if they are missing in this early batch by recreating it after you have deleted the earlier test one to fix errors.

If you require further assistance, please let me know.

Just wanting a bit of information on Beam. I currently use AMP as my clearing house can you tell me if this will still work or is it easier to change to the super fund that beam uses for clearing.

    Hi @TGeorge,

It most likely will be easier for you to use Beam for your clearing house as it will remove an extra step for you having to make calculations and changes in the system.

Beam was essentially made to lessen the load you experience when paying super for your employees ensuring compliance and efficiency.

If you need further help, please reach out.

Lucas, I believe the Beam platform allows me to choose a clearing house i am just wondering if the experience is better if you stay with the super fund that it is set up with. Wondering if there has been any issues with the clearing house being a different company

    Hi @TGeorge,

It's a better experience with Beam compared to the one you have setup originally. I'm not sure if there will be issues with the clearing house being a different company.

I may need to reach out to Beam and confirm this for you.

    Thank you and speak soon.

I currently have my clearing house with AMP and i understand that on the Beam platform you can elect a different clearing house other than theres. My question is for ease of use is it better to change my clearing house to the default platform on Beam. Also does the Beam platform give me a print out of the transaction when i make the transfer.
