seems to be an issue with receiving the verification code when logging into Reckon GovConnect.
10 minutes requesting a code, nothing, then 3 requests came through at once on phone.

Which mobile provider are you with?
Can I get you to switch your phone to flight mode for 2-3 minutes and after that time switch flight mode back off. That will force your phone to poll your network provider for any messages that are queued etc.
After that, try logging in again. Does the SMS with your MFA code come through normally after that?

The best thing to do in this scenario is re-sync your phone to the MFA service:
After this, try sign in again - you should receive accurate MFA codes within the minute.
If you are still experiencing this issue after these steps have been performed, you may be in a low/no signal area and may need to find a better mobile signal.
