My Payroll Officer spent hours working on payroll this morning.. 6am to 11am.. then all of a sudden a warning message came up apologising that there was a system error and shut her out.. when she logged back in.. 5 hours of payroll entry LOST…..

Never have i seen in the 5 years of using Reckon Hosted FULL LOSS of Payroll..

What has happened to Reckon today to cause such an event??????

    The warning came up then the system shut down before she had a change to take a screen snippet.

    I am not going to call system support.. as we URGENTLY need to process payroll for our 400 employees.. so we are starting again.. but would appreciate and update on what the EVENT was that caused a FULL LOSS of payroll processing…

    That is ridiculous. I'm stunned the system isn't saving as it goes along. If I spent five hours on any function I would assume it would be saving on a predetermined schedule. Something like this should not happen. Even MS Office creates a restore point at intervals. I'm aghast that AWS isn't doing this.

    Sorry it ruined your day. I hope it gets better. I hope Reckon are listening too
