Employee Start Date

I put in the wrong date for a start date with an employee, how can i change it. I did change it, but the leave section won't accept the new date.

    What's happening specifically when you attempt to amend the start date? Are you encountering an error message? If so, what is it?

    What start date did you enter and also what is the date you're trying to amend it to now?

    Employee details not saved

    Employee's LeaveStartDate can not be before Hire Date

    So, I changed the start date from 11/11/2024 to 18/11/2024 and this is the message I got when changing leave dates to 18/11/2024? I even put the end of the week date 24/11/2024 and same message.

    Is this a brand new employee you've only just setup or is it an existing employee that has already been included in pay runs?

    Hi Lorrain Zimmerman,

    This issue occurs because the Leave Start Date must be on or after the corrected Hire Date. Since it's an existing employee included in pay runs, some fields may be restricted.

    Quick Suggestions:

    1. Update and save the Hire Date first, then adjust the Leave Start Date.
    2. Try making changes in incognito mode to avoid cache issues.
    3. If pay runs are locking edits, you may need to adjust prior runs or contact support for assistance.
