Reckon Personal Plus & Reckon Home Inventory not communicating

I have just downloaded & installed Reckon Accounts Personal V31 (RAPP) and have accessed my current Quicken file without any issues.

However I am unable to access my Reckon Home Inventory (RHI) File. Not sure if this was an error on my part during the installation process. I uninstalled Recon Home Inventory along with the old Reckon Personal Plus prior to downloading the updated version.

I have since installed the Home Inventory Manager from the Reckon Accounts PersonalV31 extracted installation files and can access it and my file outside of RAPP

However when I go to the Property & Debt tab in Personal Plus and click on Home Inventory I get the message “Reckon Home inventory does not appear to be installed. Home Inventory can be installed from your extracted installation files”.

I should point out that I have installed & uninstalled both RHIM & RAPP a couple of times with the same result.

Can anyone offer any solutions?

    I have also loaded V31 and have exactly the same experience when trying to launch from within RAPP.

    However, even if I attempt to launch HMI from its own icon or by choosing the QHI data file and 'Open', the Welcome to HMI screen flashes up then disappears and nothing happens.

    There is something wrong with the HMI installation! Can someone from Reckon please help?!

    Further to my previous comment. I found that opening the HIM and clicking on the Update Reckon Accounts Icon updates the RAPP file with the HIM data & links. I could then launch the HIM file straight from the Property & Debt tab.
