How is this possible? Leave Details doesn't match Leave Accural Summary
Hi everyone,
For one staff member, the Leave Details: Hours Availalbe as of XX/XX/XX doesn't match the leave summary report.
Payroll does change this value when mistakes are found after a payroll run but I thought that it should resolve itself once a new payroll cycle is completed?

Some more detilas:
This was the value as of 30/11/2024 in the employee's Leave Details Section. It 5.46. It is possible that this has been manually updated
This was the report and what's on their payslip. 9.26
When we process the pay for this staff member, it accures the correct amount
and set's it in the employee record
but the report and payslip is wrong. It shows 15.57

this has happened to me and no amount of deleting and reentering pays, or any other ‘tricks made a difference. My last resort was going to be create a new employee using the same employee number and transfer correct leave balances. I was going to do this at the beginning of the next financial year but fortunately he left. I’m sorry but other than rebuilding the file - 3 times, I have nothing to suggest.

Thanks Kris, What do you mean by rebuilding 3 times?

Go to File - utilities -rebuild data
It will do a backup and then rebuild, do this 3 times.

Is the date range of your Leave Summary report set to
This Payroll Year to Date
in the top left?If you click in/drill down into the leave balance in the report, it should show each pay's leave accruals/balance, does it show anything out of the ordinary?

It's not just the leave report, it's the payslip that doens't match what's in the employee tab
