Emailing Z Reports
Hi,
Currently our end of day z reports are getting sent to an old co workers (work) email that we do not have access to.
We are wanting these reports to be sent to another email address but can't seem to find a way around to do it.
Please help! :)

I was just wondering is this for Reckon Accounts Desktop or our Cloud Point of Sale?

Is this Reckon desktop, I have never heard of a Z report

I believe whoever has created the register originally for the Cloud Point of Sale system will have the End of day reports sent to the email address. Now I am not exactly sure if hard coded into the POS, but maybe my colleague @Alexis McKeown might have an answer around this for you.

The email log in used for that POS register is also a different email address and fortunately we do have access to that one. When i go to the Staff tab under "Account", the old co workers email is not listed on it.
I was advised yesterday that the old co worker used to do all sorts of tasks on reckon (payroll etc) but we do not use those features anymore.

Could you please take a look under Tools and options? You may be able to modify it under there for the software, but I'm not 100% sure as I do not have access to the Cloud version of POS.

The Z-Report in Reckon Cloud Point of Sale is sent to the Owner of the account, or the Employee with the Manager role.
To modify the email address, you would need to change the email in the Portal itself by going into Profile → Login & Email → Edit.
The same would need to occur if the account in question is linked to an Employee with the Manager role.

Hi Alexis
The current log in is an email we have full access in our office so I'm not wanting to change that.
But I have a suspicion that the old co worker was given the manager role? but alas, no one has access to that person's emails, log in, account, nothing…
Is there a way of removing someone as the manager role on our end?

You may want to check the owner's account anyway in the event they have the incorrect employee's email listed as their login email.
However, to remove employees from the list:
- Go to the Customer Portal.
- Select Reckon Cloud POS.
- Click on the three dots to the right-hand-side of your subscription.
- Select Share With…
- Then select User.
- Click on the user you no longer want to share the program with.
- Select "Delete".
This should clear them from the record.
