Saving account code sort order as default

Is there some way of saving the following setting, instead of having to change the seemingly default setting? In reports go to generate, then window "show more options"-sort by-drop down menu gives 3 options account order, account name or account code. I always want account code, but the default is always account order.

Is there any way of retaining the setting I choose, that is account code? so annoying having to change the seemingly default setting every time I log in.

Which browser are you using with Reckon One? Are you referring to changing the sort order to account code across ALL reports or just a select one/few?

I don't believe there is an option to set this globally across all reports however setting it on an individual report should make the selection 'stick' if that makes sense.

Check out my screen recording below as an example. I've changed my P&L report to sort by account code and then generating that report again later has retained that selection. Using Google Chrome.

Thanks but it doesn't work if you log out and later log on again that day or next day, you have to go through the reset again, of course it retains it if you haven't logged out, using google chrome. I'm looking at p/l and balance sheet

Hi Kevin,

I am sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues.

I have conducted tests on my end using my account and generated both profit and loss as well as balance sheet reports. I noticed that the selected sort by options are retained. However, if you change the settings and refresh the page before generating the report, the options will be retained even after logging out. Conversely, if the report is not refreshed and the browser is simply closed, the selected options will not be retained upon reopening the report.

Please test this on your book and let me know the outcome.

Thanks Reeta. I did this, logged off for 5 minutes then logged back on, the settings were retained. However I waited 2 hours, logged on and the settings were lost, reverted to the seemingly default position, crazy.

I just checked my dummy book that I changed to account code during my test yesterday and its changed back to account order as you've outlined.

I'll have a word with the Reckon One product team to see what is the expected/intended behaviour here. Will keep you posted.

I've had a worth with the product team and currently the sort order and filters not being saved/retained after a session ends is expected behaviour.

I've raised it with the team to see if we can add some options around this moving forward however at this stage I'd recommend raising this is a feature request on our Ideas Portal here.
