Invoice template margins and how to fit invoice on one page

Question

I want to increase column width for description so that the invoice ca be fitted on one page. See the recent invoice as attached. It looks so unprofessional to send 2 page invoice which can be simply one page invoice. How to format a template layout and margins? There is no "additional customisation" available.

I am currently only using Reckon Payroll and I am considering using Reckon One for our invoicing. I have been using the demo book as a trial but I am not liking the invoice entry screen. We too have long descriptions on our invoices and your suggestions above allow for the description to be wider on the final invoice but I would like to see the Invoice entry screen customisable eg. disabling columns not relevant eg. discount, service date & allow the description column to be widened and stay widened.  I have used the 2012 desktop version in the past & the Invoice entry & Invoice template were fully customisable to suit our personal requirements, so I was hoping to see this feature in Reckon One.  Thank you for the opportunity for input.

We're working on a number of improvements in the area of invoices right now so we'll most certainly take this feedback on board.

In the interim, (and please note this largely depends on your requirements) something you could potentially look at is disabling some of the columns that you may not necessarily need or want to show on the invoice template. For example, in your screenshot I can see the Project, Service Date and Account columns have no data on that specific invoice.

Granted, its only one invoice but if you're not using these features and/or data on the invoice, perhaps consider disabling them from the invoice template. Screenshot example below.

While I can't say this would completely solve things for you, it would free up a bit of a space on the invoice at the current time. The ability to resize the description column is certainly being worked on so stay tuned for those improvements.
