Reckon One has received a new update today which has introduced new improvements built directly from user feedback! πŸŽ‰ Check out details of today's update.

✨ Improvements to payroll reports

Based on your feedback we've added more improvements to existing payroll reports!

Sorting reports by First Name or Last Name

Currently, reports display and sort employee names using the display name format.

One of the most highly voted feature requests in our Payroll Ideas page is the ability to display and sort reports by first or last name so we're really excited to deliver this improvement that has come directly from your feedback.

The ability to display and sort by first or last name has been included in the following reports:

  1. Payroll Summary
  2. Payroll Detail
  3. Payment Schedule
  4. Leave Balance and Accrual Value
  5. Super Contributions by Employee
  6. Employee List - Payroll

Include hours worked on the Payroll Summary report

The Payroll Summary report has been enhanced with a new column showing the total hours worked by each employee for the selected period. This total is calculated using hourly-type pay items and applies to all earnings pay item types, providing greater visibility into employee work hours.

✨ Super Guarantee - 12%

Any pay runs created with a pay date of 1 July 2025 or after will automatically calculate statutory super guarantee at 12% in compliance with ATO requirements.

✨ Display employees assigned to a pay template

A brand new tab has been added to Pay Templates in the Settings menu to display any employees assigned to a pay template, their associated classification and current status. This will make it much easier for you to identify which templates an employee is assigned to along with any updates required when changes are made to a template.

✨ More EOFY finalisation improvements!

In our previous release we introduced updates to the EOFY screen based on your feedback. We've made further refinements including adding a confirmation message when discarding a draft EOFY finalisation and improved messaging when creating a zero-out finalisation.

✨Improved messaging for Beam

We've updated the messaging for EFT and BPAY payment methods to clarify that the correct reference to use is the Payment Reference Number, as advised by Beam. This change aims to reduce errors when paying your super contributions.

✨ Superfund update - Smart Future Trust

We've updated the Trustee for the Smart Future Trust super fund to ensure the correct fund products and associated USIs are reflected and available in the Superannuation Funds menu.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

  • We've resolved an error affecting the bank accounts widget on the Reckon One dashboard screen.
  • Fixed the Error setting selling setup details. GetTaxGroups has not been assigned error when disabling invoice approvals.
