My companies disappeared from GovConnect


We have been using Reckon Accounts Hosted for the last 5 years and STP has been working fine up to May 2025.
Today when I logged into portal.reckon.com, the two companies have disappeared from GovConnect.

I can see the Reckon Portal account these two ABN's are registered under is a Microsoft SSO-type login. Are you clicking the Continue with Microsoft button when logging into the Reckon Portal?

I always continue with Microsoft.
But this is what I have, please see attached.

Ok I think I see what's happening here.
You have two Microsoft SSO-type Reckon Portal accounts and I think you're currently logging in using the Microsoft account that the ABN's are NOT registered under.
If you sign out and log back in using the original Microsoft account that was used for the Reckon Portal, it will bring up your ABN's in GovConnect.

The email address is the username and in my case it doesn’t matter that it’s no longer a valid email. More important that the phone number is the same. Have you tried logging in using the old username and password?
I believe my friend’s email address is not valid, but can’t be sure. Still worthwhile trying

In the case of the OP, the above was due to logging into a different account than what the STP entities were registered to.
Can I just confirm that you are logging in to the same account that you have previously been able to access GovConnect for your STP entities from? Do you have multiple Reckon Portal accounts?

Yes - its the same one I have always logged into

I do have multiple so I tried the other one as well and its not there either (but it was never in that one). I called support yesterday and they tried to tell me the email address doesnt match but nothing has changed at my end.

What appears on-screen when you try to access GovConnect? Is there an error message appearing?
What is the ABN that you have registered to GovConnect previously?

Thanks for that. I can see that your account is registered as a Microsoft SSO-type account.
A couple of questions;
- When logging in, are you clicking the Continue with Microsoft button?
- If you are, are you signed into the correct Microsoft account?
I can see the email address for the account is different to the email address listed on your Reckon Community account. Have there been any changes to your email address and/or Microsoft account recently?

Yes the log in I always use is with the Microsoft button - I only have one microsoft account. Yes the email addresses are different but this has been the case for many years and I havent had a problem until now.
The other log in I can log in with the username and password and that has the same email as the account but I dont ever use that for STP

Can I get you to please send me a screenshot of the profile page when you're logged into Microsoft-enabled Reckon Portal account that shows the login email address in a private message. It'll look something like this -
