Amazon screen when logged out


Hi Reckon team
Sometimes I leave my Reckon Accounts Hosted idle for a long time which means it gets disconnected. I know that is normal but I've noticed that when this happens I reach a Amazon error page.
Is that normal?

That's correct - the new experience for Reckon Accounts Hosted has migrated onto a more secure and stable server environment which has some dependencies on AWS.
As such, timing out will take you back to an AWS page when you eventually time out. Hopefully that explains things a bit more. 🙂

Understand about the change to AWS, in fact I'm somewhat surprised Hosted wasn't already on it.
It's more so about that error screen though, shouldn't it be a Reckon page rather than an Amazon one?

The time-out page being Reckon-flavoured on the list for future updates and upgrades.
It's definitely something we know needs improving, and we've raised it as a good change to have soon.
While I can't say that the exact time this will occur, I can confirm that we'll post an update on the Community once it has occurred.
