Updating Super Guarantee rate in Reckon Accounts Hosted 2025 ✨


The latest edition of Reckon Accounts Hosted includes a new feature to update your super guarantee rate!
How do I update my super guarantee rate?
To update your super guarantee rate, click on Employees ➡️ Update Super Rate.
A prompt will appear which will show you the current rate and allows you to enter a new rate for super guarantee. Click the update button and your Super Guarantee payroll item and the rate on the Super Details within the employee profile will update to the newly specified rate.
When should I update my super guarantee rate?
Its important that you update your super guarantee rates prior to creating your first pay run of the new financial year after upgrading to the latest version of Reckon Accounts Hosted.
Please ensure you have completed any outstanding pay runs for the current financial year and then update your super guarantee rate using Update Super Rate before creating your first pay run of the new financial year.
Please note - Only admins or users with payroll permissions can update super guarantee rates in single user mode.
Will my super guarantee rate automatically update?
No, super guarantee rates will not update automatically so its important that you use the new Update SGA Rate feature to update your super guarantee rates when you're ready to do so after upgrading.
