MFA for Admin user

We have two users each with their own login for Reckon since the advent of MFA. However to upgrade to the new version you have to login as Admin. Do I use the same Admin password we had prior to MFA and if so which user will the MFA code be sent to? (Prior to MFA we had one user plus the Admin login which was seperate. We now have 2 users but haven't logged in as Admin since MFA was introduced). Thank you

To upgrade the file you don’t need an MFA code, login using your normal login for which you will receive the normal code, then when you open the company enter Admin and that old password if you know it. Once the file has been upgraded sign out and login under your own username

you should be able to login just as you do now, the code will go to the same number you’ve been using recently. Unless your 2 users have their own licences and logins and each use their own phone number

Hi Kris. 2 users each have own licences, logins and phone number. Neither of these users are an administrator. I can't make either of us an administrator without logging in as admin hence my original question.

Hi @Jacinda
Hopefully the info in this related post helps out but let me know how you get on - How do I confirm I am the Admin user that can enable file upgrade to a newer version of Hosted?

@Jacinda Any Hosted user can do the upgrade - The "Admin" user requirement for this relates specifically to your company file user details, when logging in.
It needs to be the "Admin" user details entered here :
