Snapdragon® X Plus (8 Core) processors

I am looking at buying a new laptop and am looking at a Microsoft Surface Pro.
These have a Snapdragon X Plus (8 Core) processor - all my previous computers used Intel CPUs.
I have heard some reports that some software is incompatible with these processors.
Interested to hear if there are any issues with running Reckon Personal Plus on these machines

Is that an ARM processor?
I don't know too much about it but there was a post here a while ago asking about the compatibility of ARM with the software. You should be able to find it from the search

Yes, Snapdragon chips are based on ARM architecture.
I will search for that as per your suggestion - thank you.0 -
Thanks Eric,
I found that post about the compatibility of ARM with the software.
It seems there are no issues with running Reckon on machines with Snapdragon processors.
Thought I would update this post in case relevant to others with the same question,1 -
I just installed Reckon 2025 onto a new Laptop with the Snapdragon processor; after ensuring that it had all the system requirements for Reckon software.
I am unable to email payslips and invoices and the reason I have been given is the Snapdragon processor.
A tech consultant spent 80 minutes on my laptop yesterday trying to find a work-around but to no avail.
Resolution: create a PDF of anything that I want to email and send it manually through my Outlook.
I really hope that Reckon are going to find a fix for this?

@CarolynA in fairness the other post about Snapdragon literally has a response from the admin stating there are issues with emailing and importing.

I may be a novice at Reckon Community @Eric Murphy but if there is compatibility issue with software/hardware it should be noted in the Release Specifications. The last place I should be looking is at the community of users.
I was told that laptops are all moving to the Snapdragon processor and it is a MAJOR ISSUE not being able to directly email documents from Reckon!
