#TipTuesday - Introducing the highly requested Leave Taken by Employee report 📝

Good morning and welcome to another #TipTuesday! Today, I'm excited to talk about the brand-new Leave Taken by Employee report in Reckon One. I know this is something a lot of you have been asking for, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with the community.
The Leave Taken by Employee report gives you a clear view of the leave recorded within a specific date range, making it easier to track both leave usage and the associated costs. When combined with the Leave Balances and Accrual Value Report, you'll get a complete record of all employee leave: what’s been used and how much is left.
Key Features
- Date Range Selection: The leave taken report uses the pay run date to filter results which ensures accuracy.
- Draft pay runs included: Leave from draft pay runs is included to provide a comprehensive overview.
- Organised Grouping and Sorting: Data is grouped by employee
- Leave types are sorted alphabetically under each employee
- Summarised Totals: Each employee section includes subtotals for hours taken, $ value and leave loading
- A grand total is displayed to summarise data across all employees
We’re really excited to bring this new report to you, and we hope it helps streamlines your leave management and makes tracking leave usage and costs easier than ever. You can find the Leave Taken by Employee report in the payroll section of the reports in Reckon One.
Whether you're reviewing individual employee leave or looking at the bigger picture, this report will help you provide valuable insights to ensure everything stays organized and accurate.

Tracking when an employee has time off has become a whole lot easier, especially how much leave was taken at the time will probably be one of the most useful reports😎

How do we get the start and end dates of leave to populate in this report?

Great question @Eric Murphy,
Sorry I didn't cover that in the post. The dates are populated from the Period (optional) section in the pay run when entering leave.
