how to set up RDOs in Reckon ONE

HI, iv been on before with issues with RDOS accruing incorrectly , i still haven't found the answer.

Hoping going back to beginning with settings will help?

We are currently having to manually enter RDO hours. We thought we had finally worked settings out, however we have found no matter what we input for ordinary eg. 38hrs, 40 hrs or even 30 hrs - employees will still accrue 2days RDO.

Im wanting 2 days RDOS to accrue when they have worked a 40 hr week.

How do i configure this, please

If you can please provide us with the screenshot of the following:

Pay item - RDO including all the information you have entered.
Leave Details - RDO: Employee record
Pay run with RDO

Hi @CuttingEdge,

This is not an ideal solution, but you may consider configuring the RDO to accrue on an hourly basis while setting the annual and personal leave entitlements to accrue per pay period. Additionally, you can create a separate pay item for RDOs and record them in the pay run only as necessary.

So, essentially what you are saying is that Reckon is not capable of automatically recording this infomation ?

I have a few employees setup with RDO and it works fine so I doubt it's a problem with the software.

You've probably got something in your setup that is stopping it from accruing.

Has it ever worked?
