Hi,
The ability to add special pricing via Price Level List is very cumbersome.
In fact it is so hard to find Items from the tiny little application box. Their is No Item Search Function on it, and the application box is tiny. C
Certainly I have found here on the community site that some people export it to Excel & import it back after adjusting the prices of products.
But that is not worth doing if only 1 item needs a change of price due to a cost of Item increase.
The “Item List” in Chart of Accounts is very easy to use. It would be good if that same plat form could be used to add special pricing for a customer or group.
In my case I have Reckon supplying item information to my website. But I need different pricing for my website than I have for each product in Reckon.
We have a Customer call “Web Site” and Reckon gets that customers Item / Product pricing. This would be great if we could put special pricing in the < Price Level List> for the Customer named “ Web Site” but because it is so hard to find products we have almost 1,000 products on that application, we have now chosen to create duplicate Items/Products for all our product range with the 1st character of their product code being “W” for Website and then only allowing those products to be seen by the WebSite.
A cumbersome way of getting around the problem and a huge duplication of products but what else can we do.
It is unfortunate that Reckon has chosen not to increase the functionality of the Reckon program such as Xero etc have. Reckon has chosen to use 3rd parties which have to be purchased separately to increase functionality. This is not something most of us in small and medium business want to do.
Best Regards
Mark
