RKN vs QDF files
 
             
                
            I have reinstalled Personal Plus v31 and when I go to install a backup RKN file the form only recognises QDF files, which I don't have. How do I upload the RKN backup file?

            Unfortunately the app is not yet fully open because it's a reinstall on the penultimate step in the process as illustrated in screenshot. Should I click on Start Over button and then do a backup restore? 0

            Can someone please assist. I've wasted far too much time on this issue which has never occurred in my many years of using the app. 0

            Surely you have a qdf file saved somewhere on your PC that you could open. Once that is done just restore your rkn backup. If not, why don't you just open the test file and then restore your rkn? 0

            Hi. I've again unistalled and reinstalled and it gets to the point that I have the R icon on the Start Menu but app will not open so cannot progress the suggestions above. Can anyone assist please. 0

            In the first instance, close the software in full, you can do that by clicking the X button on the icon from your screenshot or access the Task Manager by using Ctrl+Alt+Del. Does the issue persist after that? If so, is your screen size set to normal settings? If not, set your screen size to the default normal settings and then try again. 0

            Thanks for advice. I have already closed the app multiple times using Task Manager. I have checked my Display setting as below and they are unchanged. I'm pretty tech savvy and this one has me beat. Any other options? 0

            Are you running multiple desktop views on your PC by any chance? ie. could Personal Plus be open but running on that other desktop view whereas you're currently viewing an alternative desktop view? 0

            Hi Rav. I just double checked but only working one destop at present. This issue emerged yesterday when I went to open the app and the icon came up in task bar but would not open up. Since then have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but can no longer get to the point that there is anything of Reckon on the screen. 0
