Dates for items on pay slips

In the software I can add dates for things like leave or allowances or higher duty pay but these do not show on the payslip. It would be useful if there were a setting somewhere to have these dates show.
The reason I ask is that I am making some backpayments over a period of time and want to show the employee the period the backpayment covers. I am doing this as the calculations are quite complicated and need to be made on weekly basis for a period going back 12 months for 20 staff and take some time to do.
