We have an employee that worked for us over 6mths ago who has now returned. Do I create a new file and code number or re-activate his old file?

    Hi @NoshcalTransport

Was this employee terminated within the current 2025/26 financial year? ie. after 1 July 2025?

His last pay was 08/08/24, he moved to Tasmania.. He is now back in QLD and started working for us again starting yesterday :)

Ok thanks for that. If the employee was terminated in a prior financial year and have since been finalised in that financial year's EOFY, which based on the above they have, then you can simply reactivate them using the existing profile.

Remove the Release Date from their profile and enter the new hire date along with reviewing any existing leave entitlements that may still be listed from their previous employment.

Provided there was no ETP payout (as this gets removed from STP reporting now, by doing this process 😬)
