Missing Uninstall file

I have Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2015 on one computer and wish to move it to a new computer. I have been told that I need to uninstall the file but when I click on the uninstall icon in the Control Panel/Programs and Feature (W10) it gives the error that it can't find the uninstall file. It is looking for the uninstall file on a CD which I no longer have.

How do I proceed to to uninstall the program in a way that will give me the ability to install it on a new computer. I have tried but the new computer gives the error that the program has previously been installed on another computer.

Reckon Accounts 2015 or Personal 2015?

You could use revo uninstaller to get rid of the full install. I think there's a guide here on the community about performing a "clean" uninstall

Sequence in trying to uninstall using Control Panel\Programs and Features from old W10 machine:

I do not have a \Temp\HAB\DISK1 as temp file are removed after use

The program still runs on this old machine.

I do have a copy of a new install exe program which I was going to use on my new computer. I am not wanting to "reinstall" using this exe on the old machine in case I loose all access to the program. It does still run on the old computer but I no longer use that computer.

My thought here is that maybe it will install the ability to uninstall but maybe it will just corrupt the version I have.

I downloaded the file and ran it on the new computer. It installed and ran once okay. I could load my old files as I had copied them across.

The next time I tried to run the program on the new computer it came up with the "not the original computer" display box and shut down. I undertand if I remove (not just delete) the installation on the old computer I will be fine but I don't have all the uninstall files. I am loathe to install the newly downloaded version on the old computer just in case it does not work then I have nothing.

I have found a Reckon number to call for activiation but time has not allowed me to do this yet as I am trying to get stuff done for Christmas.

One question I cannot find and answer to is, if I change to the new v31 version of Reckon Personal can I run mutliple companies / accounts like I could in the 2015 version on the one registration or will I need a separate licence for each business similar to Reckon One (which I am using for my primary business).

My understanding is that you can run your multiple companies. As in the 2015 version. I would simply make a backup and restore it on the latest version.
