Problems with Reckon Personal Plus V31 on new PC Windows 11

After re-Installing my Reckon Personal Plus V31 (after uninstalling from old PC) with correct Installation Key, the program opens up and I can use the last data file with extension .QDF to start up the program, all good. But when I want to exit the program and want to make a backup it tells me it cannot be done.

When I open the program again, I have to re-insert the Installation Key, use the QDF file as a backup and off I go.

Why does it not let me use the program correctly?

    Hi Gerry, thank you again for your offer of help, but problem is resolved. I put the qdf file on the desktop and used it for getting my account up and then made backup in a folder on C: drive and it worked. I went in and out of the program a few times and it's working. If anything else comes up I will come back to your offer and kept your number. Thank you and a Merry Christmas! Eva
