I need to setup novated lease for an employee. will you be able to guide me through step by step pls? im using Reckon One.

We've got a default deduction item for vehicle lease which you'll find details of in Payroll Settings ➡️ Pay Items ➡️ Deductions
The default Vehicle Lease item is preconfigured to deduct from gross earnings before it calculates withholding tax.
If this is suitable to your requirements then you can add this item to the employee when creating their pay run and/or add it to their Pay Setup so that it prefills automatically when creating a payrun for that employee.
