No longer able to use clearing house after setting up Beam Superstream

Hi Team,

I would like to set up Beam Superstream this week but I have lodged January Super through our current Clearing House today. Payment for this to be made at the end of the month.

I noticed that when I went to enable Beam Superstream, a notification came up that I would no longer be able to use the Clearing House.

I hope this is not a silly question but will this affect the payment for January Super being connected to our current Clearing House by enabling Beam Superstream now?

I don't think it will but I don't want to muck things up.

No it won't affect it Jen.

Once you setup Beam, you don't use the other clearing house from that point on. The current payment will still go through

Hi Team,

I tried to set up Beam yesterday and I think I am doing something wrong.

I changed the contact details to myself but when I check the details this morning, it has reverted back to the original contact person's name. - Why is this happening?
I am getting a warning message about our bank and super details. I found where to enter the bank details. Where do I enter the our company super details?

Help would be appreciated.

Hi Reeta,

In the contacts details when setting up Beam, I put my name in and went through the following steps and until I got the "Congratulations" Beam is ready to use.

Upon checking this morning, it's reverted back to the person who's details were there. I'll try and screenshot the contact details and send to you via DM.

Where do I add our company superannuation details (Employer Number and Fund Name?)

Hi @JEN ,

When registering in BEAM, you should be prompted to provide the company's ABN number. This information is used to identify the employer, and the applicable fund depends on the specific fund the employee is enrolled in. Please note that there is no need to provide any company specific superannuation details.
