Too many attempts with the incorrect password - locked out of STP

I have been submitting STP to the tax office for years but yesterday and today I am getting this error message - too many attempts with the incorrect password so locked out and when I submit to change the password Forgotten password
We will send a recovery code to the email associated with your account - nothing comes into my email that has not changed.

Just to confirm, when you're attempting to reset the password, are you entering the user name that your STP entity is registered under?

I can check that for you if you'd like. Can you let me know the ABN for your STP entity.

I've just had a look and the account your STP entity is registered under is your user name, not an email address.

So when you reset your password, enter in your user name into the field rather than your email address and it will come through.
