Using Reckon Accounts Hosted with a clearing house

Good morning,

I use Reckon Accounts Hosted and manage Super through the CFS Clearing House. I pay our super contributions to PayClear Services Pty Limited. I would like to seek your advice on what steps I need to take to ensure our Payday super arrangements are organized before 1 July next year.

you need to ask if the clearing house accepts a Saff file to begin with, and that will be exported from Reckon

Just to clarify, when you say you manage super through the CFS Clearing House, does that refer to Colonial First State or some other clearing house?

The reason I ask is, we've partnered with Colonial First State which offers Reckon Accounts & Reckon Accounts Hosted users with free access to their FirstChoice Employer Super Clearing House which you can use via the SAFF export.

There's more info on this in the link below but let us know some more info when you can.

Great to see you're already using Colonial First State's clearing house. In that case, you can continue using Colonial's FirstChoice Employer Super Clearing House and use the SAFF file generated from Reckon Accounts and upload to the clearing house.

Absolutely you can yes, it'll definitely help you get ahead once the new compliance requirements take effect on July 1.

Just for my own understanding though, I have a quick question for you. Since you're already using the CFS clearing house, how are you getting the super info from Reckon Accounts to the clearing house currently for disbursement? (if you're not using a SAFF export yet)

Thank you @Rav . Currently, I download the Payroll Totals from Reckon and manually enter the contribution amount in to the clearing house. Now, I will be entering every details of the member in Reckon such as member number, unique super ID. Could you please advise how I should do in Reckon to generate SAFF file from Reckon Accounts and upload to the clearing house. Thank you.
